When Kaz Brekker gets an offer he can’t refuse, he gathers his crew of fellow mermaids and mermans to go to the cold, cold waters of the North. Straight to the Ice Court, where dangers and adventures await them. The Ice Court is a military stronghold, and have some of the cruelest mermans among them. Will they survive the harsh cold and the dangerous icebergs awaiting them, and return home with more gold than they’re wildest dream could conjure, or will they get taken, lost or killed, with no one left to even mourn them?
